UCB partners with Clickx 242 to launch UCB Mobile - May 2005

 

United Christian Broadcasters has teamed up with Crawley based Clickx 242 to implement a range of interactive mobile multimedia services to work alongside their brands. Clickx supplied UCB with consultancy and services to include their short code, SMS-C, Keywords and ICSTIS compliance.

Products implemented include the Mobi-MEDIA platform,  Mobi-SCRIBER for their scripture subscription service, Mobi-INTELLIA for their help service, Mobi-SMS Radio for polls, competitions and votes, Mobi-VOUCHER for pre-pay Mobile content gift vouchers and Mobi-SENDER for sending promotional messages and alerts.

Michael Reid Ministries Delivers SMS-TV during Live Broadcast - September 2005

 

When Michael Reid Ministries (MRM) needed a live broadcast organised to include SMS-TV services, they chose Clickx 242 to deliver for their event at Wembley Conference Centre.

Clickx 242 provided the SNG truck, satellite space segment and back haul to BT Tower for the feed to be collected by Revelation TV and Life TV channels on the BSkyB platform. Clickx also provided the project management for this service liaising with the play out centres and TV channels.

MRM also asked Clickx 242 to handle all the on-screen graphics for the broadcast as their JAVA based solution provided the flexibility required for both the SMS-TV graphics and the general straps and idents.   The short code, Key words and SMS-C solution was all part of the turnkey service provided by Clickx 242. Viewers were able to text in prayer requests and testimonies, all viewed as part of the live broadcast.
